What is EGLX?
EGLX (Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo) is a video game expo, returning for its 5th year in Toronto! EGLX unites gamers to experience everything gaming. Whether it’s competing casually or professionally, learning about new games or seeing your favourite gaming celebrity, we’ve got it all!
When and where is EGLX 2019?
EGLX will take place October 18-20 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto, Canada. The Convention Center is located at 255 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2W6.
What can I do at EGLX?
Do I need to be a gamer to go to EGLX?
Absolutely not! EGLX is open to all. While there will definitely be content geared towards avid gamers, we have a lot planned for the rest of the community as well. Parents, kids, fans, not-yet fans, and anyone who loves games will find plenty to do at EGLX.
How can I stay updated on all things EGLX?
We’ll announce more over the months leading up to the big show, so keep up with the latest through our mailing list or following our official social media accounts.
Will I meet my favourite gaming celebrities at EGLX?
Check out which of your favourite celebrities will be at EGLX!
Can I volunteer to work at EGLX?
Volunteers are a very important part of our team at EGLX. We’ll be accepting volunteer applications when tickets go live in Summer 2019.
Are there age restrictions to EGLX?
EGLX is open to all ages, however, minors under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Certain tournaments will be restricted to mature audiences (18+) and will require an ID to check-in. Strollers will be allowed on the expo hall floor.
When and where can I pick up my wristband?
Once you’ve purchased an online ticket, a digital ticket with a QR code will be emailed to you. You can print the ticket at home, or save it to your mobile device. Bring your ticket to the main registration area at EGLX, scan and exchange it for your pass.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
We cannot offer refunds. For more information, see the Terms of Service on your ticket purchase receipt.
What’s the plan for accessibility measures?
The MTCC offers barrier-free access and meets all requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”). Wheelchairs are available as a courtesy service on a first come first serve basis at the Guest Services desk located in the North Building on Level 200 and in the South Building on Level 500.
